Our clients seek individual yoga therapy sessions to get relief from a myriad of health symptoms or conditions that inhibit them from living a pain free, fuller and healthier life. These sessions are structured in a 1:1 forum to empower clients to participate proactively in decisions regarding their health and well-being. They create accountability on the client side to commit to their personal well-being by effecting small and positive changes consistently in their lives. Based on a comprehensive review of medical and lifestyle factors, we teach clients valuable yoga-based self-care tools and techniques that are customized to their unique needs. Our clients report dramatic quality of life improvements in just a few weeks as they continue their existing medical treatment protocols.
Introductory Session
The initial meeting is an information gathering and alignment session to build rapport and establish a direction for growth with the client. Communication with clients around their current medical treatment and health practitioner network will be established early on to inform future 1:1 sessions. We will then develop client specific practices and routines based on a comprehensive intake. Typically, six to eight sessions are recommended; with sessions scheduled at one to two week intervals at the onset and then tailored to individual needs and scheduling considerations.
